Tipping Point brews signature suds
How long does it take to drink 60 gallons of beer? Oh, about two days — if you’re the Tipping Point Tavern.
On Friday, the Main Street pub and eatery also became a brewery when it unveiled its first craft beer made on site, an amber ale. It seems customers have been celebrating ever since. In the two days after the sudsy debut, Tipping Point went through four kegs — or 62 gallons or 496 pints — of the brand new, still-unnamed brew.
As co-owner Tony Rogers put it, the beer has “been going pretty quick.”
“I tell you, we had a really good night,” he said, describing the brew’s kickoff. “People were excited.”
