Town Hall discussion on underage drinking

The OTTERS, a local group of teens dedicated to promoting positive life skills for teens, is hosting a discussion about underage drinking Tuesday, May 27.

OTTERS, which stands for Outstanding Teens Teaching Everyone Responsibility, is a local chapter of the National Association of Teen Institutes.

The group will be hosting the "town hall" meeting  from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 27 at the Historic Court House on Main Street in Waynesville.

Others speaking at the meeting will include the Haywood County Sheriff's Office, Waynesville Police Chief Bill Hollingsed, Alcohol Law Enforcement Agent Stacy Corn and more.

The event is also sponsored by Mountain Projects Teen Institute and SAMHSA.
