The Tuscola boys golf team remained undefeated (2-0) on the season after winning a 9-hole, 5-team match at the Waynesville Country Club and Resort on the Carolina Nine.

The Mountaineers were lead by Isley McClure with a 1-over par 36, Danny Planchock shot 37, Davis Reynolds finished with a 38 and Asher Boyd scored a 40. Medalist honors went to Brevard’s Will Byrd, who shot a 35.
“I am also pleased we are getting closer to our nine hole target score of 150,” said Tuscola Head Coach Aaron Smith.
The same group of five schools played in an 18-hole match hosted by Smoky Mountain on Thursday at the Sequoyah Country. At press time, no results were available.
