Tuscola enters ‘Tennessee’s Tornado Alley’ for meeting with the Elizabethton High

In 2011, the Elizabethton (TN) Fighting Cyclones swept through C.E. Weatherby Stadium and left the Tuscola Mountaineers with nothing as they blew away with a 35-0 victory.   
This time around, the Mountaineers will need to be on the lookout for shelter as they walk right into the middle of Tornado Alley.
After the trip to Waynesville last year, Elizabethton finished the 2011 season with an 8-4 record and were the runner-up in Tennessee’s District 1.  
Before last year’s game, the Cyclones held a 2-1 record with their only loss being to a tough 6A team in Science Hill.  “Betsy” (as Elizabethton locals call it) has one less win this year (1-2), but it seems that little has changed for the Cyclones.
