Tuscola girls swimmers pick up two wins
ASHEVILLE — The Tuscola varsity girls swim team improved to 5-0 in meets this season after beating Asheville School (64-30) and Asheville Christian (78-16) Friday night.
However, the Tuscola boys, which was effected by the “flu bug,” lost three times to Christ School (69-24), Asheville School (69-24) and Asheville Christian (48-39).
Tonight’s meet with T.C. Roberson has been cancelled, while several Mountaineers will be competing in the annual IRONMAN Saturday. Tuscola’s next meet will be Wednesday, Dec. 19, beginning at 5:30 p.m., against Smoky Mountain in the Haywood Regional Fitness Center pool.
