Bryce Myers scored first and last for the Tuscola varsity football team.

It was his last score, a two-point conversion run with 2:17 left in the game, which was the difference as the Mountaineers defeated East Rutherford, 22-21, in a non conference game at C.E. Weatherby Stadium Friday night.

Tuscola, will be idle Friday, Sept. 13.

Erwin 46, Pisgah 31

LEICESTER - Leading 26-20, the Pisgah varsity football team was driving in Erwin's territory prowling for another score with 1:37 left in the first half when a fumble gave the ball back to the Warriors.

That turnover, coupled with 13 penalties for 120 yards changed the complexion of the game as fifth-ranked Erwin proceeded to scored the next 26 points to defeat the Black Bears, 46-31, in a non-conference game at Kerr Stadium Friday night.

Pisgah fell to 2-1 overall. The Black Bears host Hayesville next Friday night (Sept. 13.)
