A group of Tuscola High School AJROTC cadets participated in Warrior Day on Saturday, May 24, at East Henderson High School.

The day consisted of physical exercise, such as sit-ups, push-ups, wall climbing and crawling through a mud obstacle course while carrying a 50-pound bag of sand. In addition to competing against other area high school JROTC teams, the objective of the event was to secure and egg and bring it back uncracked; the Tuscola team successfully secured their egg.

Several cadets completed the event and then went home to get ready for prom, the living embodiment of Tuscola’s motto “Never say die.”
