Tuscola High’s gym will have a distinct smell on Saturday.
It’ll be the smell of intense competition as head coach Mark Williams and his Tuscola High wrestlers will host the 2012 NEO Mountaineer Classic Wrestling Tournament.
Including Tuscola, 11 teams will gather at 9 a.m. to compete one-on-one against each other until nightfall when each weight classification determines its winner of the highly-coveted gold medal.
Along with the exciting competition on the mat, NEO Tournament T-shirts will be available, a stocked concession stand will be in full operation and tickets (six for $5) will be sold for the Basket Raffle (choice between 13 different basket stuffed with gaming equipment, men and women’s items, Christmas items, handmade items and gift certificates).
