Tuscola wins thriller in overtime!

CANTON — The action, thrills, excitement and drama couldn’t have been any better in the 49th County Clash at Memorial Stadium Friday night.
And the outcome had to be determine by the first-ever overtime period in the rivalry’s history.
In the top of overtime, Tuscola junior Logan Lambert made its field goal and Pisgah junior Nathan Higdon’s sailed wide left as the Mountaineers defeated the Black Bears, 24-21.
“It feels tremendous, I can’t lie.  It’s exhilarating,” said Tuscola Head Coach Brandon Allen. “I’ve been a part of both sides (of the rivalry), but the biggest satisfaction I get from this is seeing those boys so excited because I know that they don’t get many opportunities like this.  It’s just so satisfying to know that the Lord has blessed us as much as he has and I just want to give ...
