The Western Carolina Dog Fanciers Association, an area AKC Kennel Club, will host an AKC all breed dog show  Saturday and Sunday, June 15 to 16 at the Haywood County Agriculture and Activities Center on Crabtree Road (NC 209), in Waynesville. The two-day event will run from 8 a.m. until approximately 3 p.m. each day, and will include conformation, obedience and rally competitions. More than 1,000 pre-entered dogs will compete for Best In Show each day.

The public is invited to come view the many breeds that will be competing. Non-entered dogs should not attend. Admission is free. A small parking fee will be collected for visitors to the event. Food concessions will be available for breakfast and lunch items both days, and a variety of dog supply vendors will be on site for  shopping.
