Source: Jenny Buckner "Hair today, gone tomorrow" by Waynesville artist Jenny Buckner. Meet Jenny at Twigs & Leaves Gallery during Art After Dark on July 6 from 6 to 9 p.m., and during the Saturday Stroll, July 7 from 11 a.m. 3 p.m.

The Waynesville Gallery Association presents "Art After Dark" from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, and the new "Saturday Stroll" from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 6. This one-two punch of art events takes place the first Friday-Saturday weekend of each month through December.

The Haywood County Arts Council presents an exhibition of work by the HCC Professional Craft Instructors and 2012 Graduates, with an artists reception from 6 to 9 p.m.  Friday, Oct. 5. Gallery 86 will also be open Oct. 6 during the Saturday Stroll.

Enjoy a stroll through working studios and galleries on Main Street, Depot Street and in Historic Frog Level on Friday evening. Continue the artistic experience on Saturday as galleries host art demonstrations and special activities. Festive Art After Dark and Saturday Stroll flags denote participating galleries like Burr Studio and Gallery, Earthworks Frame Shop, Earthworks Gallery, Gallery Two Six Two, Grace Cathey Sculpture Garden and Gallery, Haywood County Arts Council’s Gallery 86, the Jeweler's Workbench, Lone Backpacker Gallery of World Photography, TPennington Art Gallery, and Twigs and Leaves Gallery.
