Despite the whipping winds and periodic rain, hundreds of people came out to enjoy the Church Street Arts and Crafts Festival in Waynesville.

The event brought out local residents and visitors alike, as restaurants and galleries on Main Street and Church Street enjoyed an extra little boost in business.

The festival featured dozens of local artists exhibiting everything from paintings to pottery to woodworking, food vendors and a stage for music ranging from polka to bluegrass.
