Voices in the Laurel’s annual holiday concert will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15 at the Lake Junaluska Memorial Chapel, located at 24 Chapel Drive in Lake Junaluska. The concert features all three choirs — Treble Makers, Concert and Chamber choir — and features the music celebrating the centenary of composer Benjamin Britten and traditional carols with a performance by our new string ensemble, Laurel Strings. Tickets are $15 and are available at the door, by calling 734-9163 or online at www.voicesinthelaurel.org (click on "Support Us," then "Buy Tickets").

The concert is generously sponsored by Joe Sam Queen.

Voices in the Laurel’s Chamber Choir will also be performing at the Biltmore Candlelight Christmas Evening Monday, Dec. 16. Upcoming concerts include the Disney Love Songs Concert at the HART Theater on Feb. 16, 2014 and a spring concert on Sunday, May 4. The choir also has an exciting spring tour to NYC planned with a performance at Carnegie Hall in May of 2014.
