Taste of Chocolate — helped needed organizaing, April 19

Meals on Wheels — drivers needed to fill routes; secretary needed for Friends

Circles of Hope — mentors and committee members needed

Foster grandparents — help a pre-school or elementary-age child; stipend available if requirements are met

Habitat for Humanity — help needed to build house and to run the Habitat store

HRMC Hospice — help needed with new program and Vet to Vet program

The Community Kitchen — cooks and servers needed; assistance with fundraiser

REACH — Hotline volunteers and thrift store workers needed

Good Samaritan Clinic — front desk office help needed

The Open Door — assistance needed in dining room, kitchen, thrift shop and food pantry

Haywood Chamber of Commerce — volunteers needed to work the front office

Haywood County Public Library — assortment of jobs throughout the library

STAR Ranch — help care for abused horses and assist with homeless cats

Haywood Regional Medical Center Auxiliary — help needed at front desk and with patient escorts

Haywood Christian Ministry — volunteers needed to receive donations of clothing and goods for four-hour shifts

The Great Laurels of Junaluska — assistance needed with odds and ends projects for residents

Smoky Mt. Health Care and Rehab Center — assistance with activities

Big Brothers/Big Sisters — in need of Big Brothers and Sisters for community and school programs

Guardian Ad Litem — volunteers needed in the court system to advocate for abused and/or neglected children

Haywood County TDA Visitor's Centers — assistance needed to staff centers and greet people

Pathways Thrift Store — clerks needed to process items

KARE — volunteers needed for light reception work in the mornings and assistance with Personal Safety Program

The Arc of Haywood County — help needed with facility maintenance and office work

Autumn Care — sit with a friend and teach a craft to seniors

Haywood Spay/Neuter — assistance needed in the office, with spay/neuter on-site transport (loading, unloading, assisting clients, prepping crates) and trap-neuter-return program

American Youth Soccer Organization — referees and line painters needed; volunteers needed to run concession stand

Haywood County Arts Council — help needed at Gallery 86; shifts from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 1 to 5 p.m.

Sarge's Animal Rescue — transport drivers and foster homes needed for cats and dogs; volunteers needed for office assistance

Bethel Rural Community Organization — help needed to run food back pantry for the needy on the second Wednesday of each month

Haywood Waterways Association — assistance needed with collecting water samples
