Renowned storyteller and Waynesville Native, Donald Davis (Waynesville Township High School graduate), returns home.  He is steeped in flora, fauna and local mountain folklore.  Featured at storytelling festivals throughout the U.S. and teh world, Donald is a prolific author, producer of books and CDs and guest host for NPR's Good Evening. He will lead guests on hikes and talk about the uniqueness of the place and the people who have lived in these mountains.  Donald and his wife, Merle, have been a part of The Swag family since 2006.  Call for reservations for backpack hiking with Donald or evening reservations for dinner followed by storytelling by the fireplace each evening.  Donald will be with us through August 19.  828-926-0430
