Walmart stalker released on bond
The man Waynesville police arrested Tuesday for stalking a young girl in Walmart and asking her to take off her clothes, was released from jail Wednesday.
Ryan Scot Davis, 48, was released on $100,000 bond yesterday. He is accused of posing as Walmart security and stalking an 11-year-old girl over the weekend.
He pulled the girl to a private area in the toy section and demanded that she remove her pants and underwear. When she did not comply, Davis let her go.
He is charged with second-degree kidnapping, indecent liberties with a child and assault on a child under 12 — all felonies. He was also charged with stalking, which is a misdemeanor.
Davis is a registered sex offender with three prior convictions in 2000 in Henderson County for almost identical crimes. He was released from custody ...
