Loving Aunt

WAYNESVILLE — Wanda M. Sizemore, 90, passed away Sunday Sept. 16, 2012, at Smoky Mountain Health and Rehabilitation. She was born in Haywood County July 10, 1922, to the late Onville and Fannie Townsend Sizemore.

Ms. Sizemore was the pitcher of the Champion Ladies Fast Pitch Softball team and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by nine brothers and two sisters. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 19, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations, with the Revs. Jennings Sizemore and David Williams officiating. The Rev. Kris Estep will do several musical selections. Burial will follow at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
