Want a letter from Santa?
Packed away in my box of treasures from childhood is a folded piece of paper, now old and worn. It’s about 47 years old now. It is a telegram I received from Santa when I was about 6. It came to me all the way from the North Pole, and I was thrilled to think Santa took time to write to me. I am happy to write that you can have just such an opportunity to surprise and delight a child in your life.
Better yet, during the upcoming holiday season, parents and grandparents can not only delight a child, but also help someone less fortunate at the same time — and at very little cost.
