The Town of Waynesville is seeking community feedback from representative sections of Waynesville to assist in developing a community-oriented policing program.  An ad hoc committee, with representation from specific groups/areas was established and appointments were made to this committee by the Board of Aldermen and Police Department.  The Committee currently has some vacancies, with a need for representation from the Russ Avenue Business Corridor and the South Waynesville areas.  Quarterly meetings are held and feedback from the Community has been found to be very useful.  Applicants interested in applying to serve on this committee must reside within the corporate limits of Waynesville.
