The Waynesville Recreation Center recently had a new design placed on the basketball courts. This was the first time the lines had to be removed so the Waynesville Parks and Recreation decided to go with a new layout. The courts now have a wider baseline, darker wood in the three point area, and each court has the department's logo at center court.
The work was completed by Carolina Hardwood of Clyde. "We are very happy with work they did," Rhett Langston, director of the Waynesville Parks and Recreation Department, said. "The new design adds a lot of color and we think everyone will be very proud of it," he added.
