A 13-year-old Waynesville girl is missing and is suspected to be in the Asheville area with a dangerous person.

David Pantaleon, 17, was recently indicted by a Haywood County Grand Jury for statutory rape involving the missing girl, Laura Contreras.

She was last seen in the early morning hours of June 26, authorites from the Waynesville Police Department said.

There are currently no vehicle or clothing descriptions.
