Wells Care Connections holds inaugural event

As a family crosses the threshold of Wells Funeral Homes following a service, a new and sometimes challenging journey begins. This journey of grief is many times overshadowed by the litany of tasks following the death of a loved one. However, once the last thank you card is written and the doorbell ceases to ring, a sense of loneliness sets in.

Jennifer Greeley Jacobson, a fifth-generation funeral director at her family’s funeral home, wanted to provide an opportunity for those experiencing grief to connect in a caring, comfortable and friendly atmosphere.  This vision came to fruition Aug. 23,  at Clyde Park with the first Wells Care Connections program.
