REACH of Haywood is pleased to announce they have opened the Within REACH  Home Store at 465 Hazelwood Avenue, two doors down from their popular Within REACH resale store. The Within REACH Home Store is open Tuesday through Thursday, 11 am to 3 pm, and features previously owned furniture, appliances and home decorations for sale.  Proceeds go to support the services that REACH of Haywood provide and clients they assist, including survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and elder abuse.

“We are delighted to offer this expansion of our resale venues,” said Julia Freeman, REACH Executive Director, “because so often we had donors who wanted to donate furniture and appliances and household décor that we just didn’t have room for at Within REACH. When this space became open and so close to Within REACH, our board of directors jumped at it. We keep our prices in the very affordable range and we are turning over lots of our stock, so there is always need for gently used items. We also have a van and helper who can pick items up if someone has no other way of getting things to us.”

The manager of both resale stores is Jerina Page and she is assisted by staff and volunteers to keep the doors open and help shoppers.
