Amy Tiller, 7th grade science teacher at Waynesville Middle School was recently awarded a grant through Donor's Choose.

Tiller will receive funding to purchase a weather station, allowing her students to collect weather data daily. This hands on interaction with weather will serve to support science concepts and provide opportunities for students to use science equipment in predicting the weather.

Donorschoose.org is a non-profit online organization that provides a way for people to donate directly to specific projects in public schools.
