Speakers Newton and Susan Hamlin have worked as Wycliffe Bible translators with the Nai people in the western bush of Papua New Guinea since 1985.

From the first they've been welcome in the village and have many friends there. The most influential man, Jems Nawi, administered the translation work wisely and faithfully until he died last May. His successor, Agai, is an articulate and gifted young man. He's worked with the Hamlins from the start, beginning when he was thirteen.

The Hamlins are getting near the end of their work there, and are praying that their last years will be the most productive yet.

The meeting begins with a pot-luck supper at 6:30, and program at 7:30.
