Young Adult novelists, Megan Shepherd, Jessica Khoury and Stephanie Perkins, will visit City Lights Bookstore on Saturday, Feb. 8 at 3 p.m. for a panel discussion on YA literature and to present their work.  These writers are among some of the staff favorites here at the bookstore and we are excited about having them at the store.

Megan Shepherd’s, "Her Dark Curiosity," the second book of the Madman’s Daughter Trilogy, will be out Jan. 28 and explores the hidden natures of those we love and how far we'll go to save them from themselves. Megan lives in Asheville.

Stephanie Perkins is the author of "Anna and the French Kiss," "Lola and the Boy Next Door," and "Isla and the Happily Ever After" which will be out in May.  Stephanie also lives in Asheville.

Jessica Khoury is the author of "Origin and Vitro" which was released on Jan. 14. Vitro is a death-defying tropical adventure delivers a frightening message about dabbling with creation.  On Skin Island, even the laws of creation can be broken.  On a remote island in the Pacific, Corpus scientists have taken test tube embryos and given them life. These beings—the Vitros—have knowledge and abilities most humans can only dream of. But they also have one enormous flaw.  Jessica lives in Columbia, South Carolina.
