Yard sale Saturday benefits GSC

While getting up early on a Saturday morning to go yard saleing isn’t everyone’s idea of a good time, this weekend might be the exception.

From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 23, the Good Samaritan Clinic is having a huge fundraising yard sale in the old Annex III building on Asheville Highway.

For the past month and a half, the clinic has been accepting donations from the community for the sale, and they have collected a large variety of items, including antiques, furniture, tools, yard equipment, house wares and recreational equipment.

“We have everything for man, woman and child,” said GSC Executive Director, Donda Bennett. “The community has gone above and beyond in their donations.”

In fact, so many items were donated, the yard sale fills all 14 rooms inside the Annex III building.
