On June 1^st and 2^nd, MusicWorks! Studio of Performing Arts will perform their annual recital at Haywood Community College in Clyde. MusicWorks is the premiere education-based performing arts studio in Haywood County. Founded by Lynne Wells-Meyer in 2002, this year’s recital will be a celebration of an impressive 10-year anniversary, and will include reunions of some of the studio’s favorite shows and numbers, as well as new numbers sure to become new favorites. Excerpts from Winnie the Pooh, Godspell, and the full jr. version of the Broadway show, Once On This Island will be performed, as well as rocking group numbers involving song and dance. Tickets can be purchased in advance at a discounted rate of $10 for adults and $8 for children 3 and up, or at the door on the evening of the performance for $15 for adults and $10 for students. All seats are reserved.  Tickets may be purchased at MusicWorks, 9 Forga Plaza Loop, Waynesville, and the studio opens at 2pm for ticket sales.  For more information, please phone (828) 456-2283.
